As one of the most commonly used packaging materials in the packaging industry, corrugated board is not simple.
Corrugated board is a multi-layer adhesive body, which is at least composed of a layer of corrugated core paper sandwich (commonly known as “pit zhang”, “corrugated paper”, “corrugated paper core”, “corrugated base paper”) and a layer of cardboard (also known as “box board paper”, “box board”).
Corrugated board quality term
1) Size error: the size exceeds the error range specified by customer requirements or national standards.
2) high and low corrugated: corrugated high fluctuation, uneven thickness of cardboard, the difference exceeds the tolerance.
3) surface wrinkle: located on the surface of corrugated board, can lead to printing defects of the crease.
4) collapse: corrugated by external force is compressed.
5) bonding is not strong: bonding strength can not meet the requirements, between each layer of corrugated board paper due to weak bonding and easy to open.
6) Insufficient quantity: the total quantity of cardboard is less than the specified standard.
7) Hardness is not enough: the water content of cardboard is too large or the physical properties of raw materials are low, resulting in low flat pressure strength and side pressure strength of corrugated board.
8) Pit: also known as false adhesion, between the finger paper and tile paper is not really bonded, manifested as the two can be easily separated, and the paper layer is not damaged after separation.
9) corrugate: the pressing line or the beer line is not parallel or vertical with the pit grain, the corrugate of the large box is not more than 3 corrugate, the corrugate of the small box is not more than 2 corrugate.
10) Lack of material: corrugated carton board paper more than corrugated paper.
11) Dew (pit) : the corrugated paper of corrugated cartons exceeds the carton board paper.
12) warping: in the production of corrugated cardboard, changes in the moisture content of base paper, improper operation and environmental changes may cause uneven defects in the produced cardboard.
13) Washboard phenomenon: it refers to the concave phenomenon between the corrugated peak and the back of the corrugated board on the surface of the corrugated board, which is similar in shape to household washboard, and also called transparent corrugated board.
14) bubbling: corrugated paper and corrugated paper fail to fit in part.
15) Shallow indentation: when corrugated board is pressing the horizontal line, the pressure is too small and other reasons make the pressure line is shallow, which causes the bending difficulty of shaking the cap.
16) Paperboard burst: when bending corrugated board after pressing line, the pressing line position will burst. The main reasons are paperboard is too dry, the folding resistance of surface/lining paper is poor, and the pressing line operation is improper.
